5 minute poems by Beanfunk
Here's a little ditty, about the modern day Rome, New York City, on my writing style please take pity. Where else in the same block, do people buy and sell stock and do the same with crack rock. Where else do people save dogs and cats but step over the homeless man while avoiding the rats. Where else can you watch the Knicks while declining the mini skirt that just offered you a trick. Where else can you watch the Rangers, side by side with strangers, who ten minutes ago on 7th Ave asked you, "You better than me?". Where else can you get called a weirdo, eat a chicken parmesan hero, hear the horns honking, the sirens whaling, and the silence of people who never say excuse me when they bump into you................to be continued
